Our latest exhibition at HOT•BED will leave you wanting to go home & start planting that garden you've been wanting to grow. Saturday, September 8th, join us for this two artist show comprised of Philadelphia locals,

Ian Loring Shiver & Barbara Sosson.

Though these two artists utilize different media, their affinities for the colorful in plant life show through their unique approaches to "still life". Sosson, a PAFA trained painter, graphic designer and printer utilizes her connection to agriculture to create portraits of her freshly picked subjects, after carefully manipulating them to create often larger than life projections. Shiver, a photographer with an eye for design, creates brightly colored photographs using flowers, fruits and everyday objects, creating optical illusions with spatially fresh compositions.  We are thrilled to bring these artists together at HOTBED to with works which in Sosson's words, "pay homage to the natural world".

Bryan Hoffman brings these works to life with customized unexpected horticultural elements.
